1. Who is responsible

dScribe BV, established in Belgium, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For personal data inside a customer's dScribe instance, the customer is the controller and dScribe acts as processor under the data processing agreement signed with that customer.

2. What we collect on this website

Contact details you give us yourself, such as your name, work email, company and the message or meeting request you send when you book a conversation with us.

Technical data generated when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the page that referred you.

3. Why we use it

To answer your questions and arrange the meeting you requested.

To operate, secure and improve this website.

To send information about dScribe where you have asked for it or where we have a legitimate interest in contacting you in a professional capacity. You can object at any time.

4. Legal grounds

We rely on your consent for optional cookies and marketing messages, on the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request when you contact us, and on our legitimate interest in running and securing this website.

5. Who we share it with

Service providers that help us run this website and our business, including hosting, meeting booking, email and demo and video providers. They act on our instructions and may only use the data for the service they provide to us.

Public authorities where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Data in the dScribe platform

The platform works on metadata. Documentation is stored in a private instance for each customer and AI functionality runs locally. For most use cases no direct connection to your source systems is required. Where an integration is set up, only metadata is accessed.

7. How long we keep it

We keep contact data for as long as needed to follow up on your request and to maintain our business relationship, and longer only where the law requires it. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.

9. Cookies

Necessary cookies keep this website working, for example by remembering your session and keeping the site secure. They cannot be switched off.

Functional cookies are set by embedded services when you use them, such as the interactive product demo, the video player and the meeting booking calendar.

Analytics cookies help us understand which pages are useful. We use them only in aggregate.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may break parts of this website.
